Alexander Yu Li, born in Beijing/ PR China, has studied at the Capital Normal University in Beijing, at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and at Technische Universität Berlin.
At the Technische Universität Berlin he has studied industrial engineering majoring in "electric energy supply" and "finance and investment" (Dipl.-Ing.). His specialties are renewable energies and international project management, especially in the cooperation for wind and solar energy projects between China and Europe, the sector of optimal energy transport included.
Since 2006 he is working as a project manager, fully authorized representative and external consultant for Strategy GmbH and in the "Association for the development of infrastructure in Eastern Germany e.V." (INFRANEU).
Alexander Yu Li is one of the pioneers in the German-Chinese economic cooperation in the wind energy sector and has initiated one of the first medium-sized wind energy joint ventures with German participation and an eight-digit investment in the PR China in 2006.
He is Co-founder of INFRAWIND EURASIA and President since 2008 (preferred Sister Association of Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES) and partner of China Power International / CPINE).
The Chinese party magazine "Globzine" has reported about his collaboration with Dr. Flämig in its June/ July 2008 edition.
